We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to play a vital role in maintaining the security, reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the implementation and management of Microservices on Kubernetes-based cloud platforms. Collaborate effectively with Cloud Development and DevOps teams to deploy services across a Multi-Cloud environment.
  • Conduct Load Testing and Chaos Engineering to validate the scalability and reliability of microservices.
  • Establish Observability for Microservices and cloud platforms including AWS, OCI, Azure, and GCP.
  • Develop and execute Disaster Recovery plans in partnership with Development and DevOps teams.
  • Identify and mitigate production risks related to resource constraints, such as node groups, CPU, memory, HPA scheduling, and JVM pre-warming.
  • Create and maintain automation scripts using programming languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
  • Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including SLA/SLO/SLI for all cloud microservices in collaboration with development teams to enhance business insights.
  • Generate and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations, including ISO27001, SOC2, and GDPR.
  • Lead incident response initiatives to swiftly troubleshoot and resolve production challenges.
  • Conduct post-incident reviews to determine root causes and propose effective solutions.
  • Assist in product and technology selection, including the implementation of Proofs of Concept (POCs).
  • Remain adaptable and open to evolving processes and tools.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer role.
  • Proficient in programming and scripting languages such as Java, Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Hands-on experience in SRE, DevOps, cloud operations, and best practices in cloud security.
  • Strong understanding of security technologies, including Identity and Access Management, Network Security, Application Security, and Data Protection.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining technical documentation and implementing compliance standards.
