Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and oversee cloud security frameworks and processes across various cloud environments (AWS, Azure, OCI) and hybrid cloud infrastructures.
  • Continuously evaluate and monitor cloud systems for vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and unusual activities.
  • Deploy and manage cloud security tools for threat detection, incident management, and access governance.
  • Establish and enforce cloud security policies and procedures in line with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with development, engineering, and operations teams to embed security best practices into the DevSecOps lifecycle (CI/CD).
  • Lead and engage in cloud security assessments and penetration testing to ensure compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Manage and respond to security incidents following established protocols.
  • Stay informed about emerging cloud security threats, vulnerabilities, and compliance regulations.
  • Effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding cloud security status and compliance obligations.
  • Work alongside external auditors to ensure successful completion of security and compliance evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud security and/or compliance engineering roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining security and compliance programs.
  • Familiarity with relevant security compliance regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR).
  • Strong grasp of security best practices, including penetration testing methodologies and risk management.
  • Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., vulnerability scanners, SIEM, IDS/IPS).
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Compensation:

  • Salary range of $100-140k based on experience and skill set.
  • Includes bonuses, paid benefits, PTO, and 401k.
