About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Designer to join our Event practice at Populous Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering major events, from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and modify drawings for event design, adhering to established best practices and technical expertise.
  • Develop solutions to technical and operational problems, from master planning to detailed design.
  • Fulfill the design and operational needs of project managers.
  • Present design concepts verbally and graphically.
  • Collaborate with the team to review and critique designs.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, and AutoCAD.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong graphic skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to grasp complex event requirements and objectives.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or similar design background.
  • 2+ years of professional experience.
  • Values inclusiveness and demonstrates enjoyment in work.
  • Willingness to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Supportive and reliable team member.
