Job Description

DaVita is seeking a highly skilled Principal Architect to lead the development of our data strategy and architecture. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data solutions that meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the overall data strategy and architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data policies and operating standards, drive innovation, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the data and analytics teams, ensuring adherence to data architecture principles and methodologies.
  • Evaluate and select data vendors, AI and machine learning technologies, and frameworks that align with the vision and provide strategic advantage to the organization.
  • Develop architectural blueprints ensuring the integrity and scalability of Data, AI, and machine learning systems.
  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and reliable data solutions that meet customer needs and align with architectural standards.
  • Drive innovation and keep abreast of emerging technologies, tools, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve our data capabilities and maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a technical leadership role, driving data strategy, and guiding data and analytics teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of the use of data to support software development methodologies, architectural patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience designing & building cloud native architectures in GCP cloud platform or similar platforms like AWS, Azure.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in areas like infrastructure automation, CI/CD, SQL/NoSQL, Security, networking, and cloud architectures.
  • Strong knowledge in artificial intelligence and machine learning, both traditional and generative.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically while paying attention to details.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including technical and non-technical team members, executives, and customers.
