Lecturer in Architecture

The University of Colorado Denver is seeking a pool of Lecturers to teach six-credit-hour design studios in the Department of Architecture's undergraduate and/or graduate programs. The successful applicant will have expertise and experience in architectural design, including knowledge of different design paradigms, design skills, and approaches to project design.

Responsibilities:

• Teach six-credit-hour design studios in the Department of Architecture's undergraduate and/or graduate programs.
• Develop and manage student projects through constructive criticism, the use of technologies ranging from technical drafting to advanced digital design tools and visualization software.
• Have expertise and experience in architectural design, including knowledge of different design paradigms, design skills, and approaches to project design.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field is required.
• Preference will be given to applicants with a professional degree in architecture or a terminal degree in a related field.
• Additional preference will be given to applicants with prior teaching experience, and/or professional registration, and/or a record of professional practice in architecture.
