The Virtual Bench is seeking an IT Support Specialist to enhance our technical team. This role is primarily focused on providing comprehensive IT assistance to both local and remote personnel.

Key Responsibilities:


• Configure, deploy, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, and mobile devices, including equipment for conference rooms.


• Ensure proper access control for sensitive data.


• Collaborate with business units to leverage information systems for operational efficiency.


• Deliver end-user support for various software applications.


• Troubleshoot and establish network connectivity for both local and remote systems.


• Oversee user account management and permissions.


• Address IT support requests promptly, adhering to service level agreements.


• Keep an accurate inventory of hardware assets.


• Analyze, maintain, and repair both hardware and software systems.


• Support internal IT teams in managing local infrastructure and VoIP services.

Qualifications:


• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support and customer service.


• A+ certification is advantageous.


• Proficient in: Computer imaging, Active Directory, Novell, Microsoft Office Suite, O365, Google Apps, videoconferencing tools, PeopleSoft, Enovia, AutoCAD, SolidWorks.


• U.S. citizenship is required.


• Eligibility for Department of Defense security clearance is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:


• HDI Support Center Analyst or ITIL certification.


• Security + certification.


• Ability to interpret technical documentation and comply with governmental regulations.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
