We currently have an opening for a IT Support Specialist

This role is designated Statutory Exempt and is exempt from the State Human Resources Act.

The IT Support Specialist evaluates and develops innovative approaches to utilizing technology for resolving operational challenges faced by the business units in DIT-Transportation within the Client Services Unit. Client Services offers technical guidance and support for hardware and software solutions related to IT initiatives such as equipment procurement, maintenance of computers/printers/applications, hardware upgrades, and data management. This position is situated within Region 1 of Client Services.

Note: This position will necessitate travel throughout the Northeastern part of Region 1.

Bachelor's degree in computer science or an IT-related field from an appropriately accredited institution plus one year of experience in the information technology field related to the position's role
OR
Associate degree in computer science or an IT-related field from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience in the information technology field related to the position's role
OR
High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and four years of experience in the field of technology related to the position's role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
