Key Responsibilities:

  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and execute menus that meet the needs of our members and guests, while maintaining profitability and adhering to ClubCorp quality standards.
  • Kitchen Operations: Supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen personnel, ensuring that food preparation is economical and technically correct.
  • Supply Chain Management: Procure food supplies and kitchen equipment, and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient operations.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure that all food preparation and presentation meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Event Planning: Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Director and General Manager to plan and execute special events and banquets.
  • Member Service: Represent the Club in member/guest interactions, providing exceptional service and ensuring that members feel valued and appreciated.
  • Staff Management: Interview, select, and hire kitchen personnel, and direct their training and development.
  • Administrative Tasks: Implement company policies and procedures, and ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and adhere to them.
  • Inventory Management: Participate in inventory management, ensuring accurate counts and pricing.
  • Point of Sale Management: Manage the Point of Sale system and ensure that all transactions are accurate and up-to-date.

Requirements:

  • Culinary Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Executive Chef, including supervision of kitchen staff, cost controls, product knowledge, quality controls, and sanitation.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Permits: County Food Handlers Permit required.
