Job Overview

This role is essential to the Real Estate division, providing support throughout various phases of commercial property transactions, including acquisition, development, leasing, and financing. You will collaborate closely with attorneys and other legal professionals, delivering vital assistance in drafting and evaluating legal documents, performing due diligence, and facilitating successful closings.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Draft and evaluate a range of legal documents such as purchase agreements, leases, financing contracts, and easements.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence, including title investigations, environmental reviews, and zoning assessments.
  • Prepare and oversee closing documentation, ensuring timely completion.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, lenders, brokers, and other relevant parties.
  • Perform legal research and compile memoranda on pertinent legal matters.
  • Organize and manage case files and documentation efficiently.
  • Undertake additional legal tasks as directed by attorneys.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial real estate law and transaction processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research platforms (Westlaw, LexisNexis).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and precision.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
