Job Overview

This role is crucial to the Real Estate division, providing support across various facets of commercial property transactions, including acquisition, development, leasing, and financing. You will collaborate closely with legal professionals, delivering vital assistance in the preparation and examination of legal documents, performing due diligence, and facilitating seamless transaction closures.

Primary Duties:

  • Prepare and evaluate a range of legal documents such as purchase contracts, lease agreements, financing documents, and easements.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence investigations, including title examinations, environmental reviews, and zoning assessments.
  • Organize and oversee closing documentation, ensuring prompt execution.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, lenders, brokers, and other relevant parties.
  • Perform legal research and draft memoranda on pertinent legal matters.
  • Efficiently manage and organize case files and related documents.
  • Undertake additional legal responsibilities as directed by attorneys.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial real estate law and transaction processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research platforms (Westlaw, LexisNexis).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and precision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic and demanding work environment.
