MGBMG provides a wide range of offerings, including primary care, behavioral and mental health, specialty care, outpatient surgery, endoscopy, imaging, lab services, infusion, and urgent care both digitally and in person in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Location:Hybrid (Monthly meetings at Mass General Brigham Headquarters, Assembly Row, Somerville, MA, and regional travel as needed)
We're committed to improving healthcare delivery, and we're looking for a Senior Improvement Specialist to lead and inspire innovation across our medical group.
In this role, you'll work closely with our Manager of Performance Improvement - Operations Optimization to drive Lean methodologies, enhance operational efficiency, and elevate patient care.

- Mentor and support new staff in the Performance Improvement Department.
- Maintain your Advanced Lean Certification and RPIW Leadership Certification.
- Facilitate Value Stream Improvement:
- Conduct assessments, lead improvement events, and coach teams on Lean processes.
- Collaborate with local leadership to implement meaningful changes.
- Ensure quality standards are met, and results are tracked.
- Educate and Empower Teams:
- Design and deliver Lean training programs for all experience levels.
- Tailor learning modules to ensure the most relevant and impactful instruction.
- Empower operational leaders to embrace Daily Lean Management principles.
- Drive Continuous Improvement:
- Facilitate root cause analysis and process changes to support team goals.
- Lead team meetings, resolve conflicts, and engage stakeholders in innovative solutions.
