Senior Training Specialist

Akima Systems Engineering (ASE) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Training Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs that meet the needs of our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in learning science, instructional design, and training delivery. They will be responsible for creating engaging and effective training content, as well as collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure that training programs are accurate and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop training programs that meet the needs of our clients
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure that training programs are accurate and up-to-date
  • Develop and deliver training content that is engaging and effective
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement training evaluation plans to measure the effectiveness of training programs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. education, instructional design, training and development)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development
  • Strong background in learning science and instructional design
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g. education, instructional design, training and development)
  • Experience with adult learning theory and instructional design models
  • Experience with training delivery and evaluation methods
  • Knowledge of learning management systems and e-learning platforms
