Continental Properties is seeking a dedicated and proactive Facilities Maintenance Lead for our residential apartment community.

In this pivotal role, you will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, enhancing efficiencies, and establishing standards that positively influence resident retention and overall satisfaction.

You will cultivate a collaborative atmosphere and motivate the maintenance team to deliver exceptional customer service. Reporting directly to the Community Manager, your contributions will be vital to our success.

Full-Time

Compensation:
$27-$34

Key Responsibilities:


Prepare residential units for leasing by executing repairs in HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, pools, carpentry, drywall, building exteriors, appliances, and painting.

Collaborate with vendors to uphold the aesthetics and safety of the community.
Manage expenses and adhere to budgetary guidelines.
Provide mentorship and training to your team.

Qualifications for Success:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a multifamily Facilities Maintenance Lead role.

Desired certifications include EPA and CPO, along with extensive experience in HVAC, plumbing, pools, carpentry, drywall, building exteriors, and appliances.

Ability to work overtime and be available for on-call duties, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical capability to perform repairs on-site as necessary, which may involve using hand strength to handle tools, supplies, and equipment, occasionally climbing ladders and stairs, and frequently lifting and moving items weighing between 25 to 50 pounds, either independently or with assistance. Proficiency in utilizing technology such as computers, tablets, telephones, and other office equipment to fulfill job responsibilities.
