As a vital member of Crescent Services, the Facilities Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in upholding the quality and functionality of our hotel environment. This position demands a proactive, friendly, and service-oriented individual who is committed to excellence in maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be tasked with a variety of maintenance duties aimed at ensuring the hotel meets its high standards of quality and safety. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting preventative maintenance and completing work orders, such as replacing light fixtures, ceiling tiles, and patching surfaces to maintain hotel standards.
- Performing scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including routine checks and repairs.
- Assisting in the evaluation and minor repairs of electrical systems, including air conditioning units, lighting, and televisions.
- Engaging in the routine and major repairs of hotel equipment, encompassing kitchen appliances, laundry machines, HVAC systems, and plumbing fixtures.
- Maintaining the hotel's swimming pool, which includes chemical adjustments and filter cleaning.
- Enhancing the exterior appearance of the property through snow removal, landscaping, and painting.
- Refurbishing guest room furniture and fixtures, ensuring they are in optimal condition.
- Responding courteously to guest inquiries and concerns to promote satisfaction.
- Complying with safety protocols and maintaining a regular attendance schedule.
- Performing additional job-related tasks as required.
Work Environment:
This position may require working in various weather conditions and operating heavy machinery. Flexibility for night and weekend shifts is essential.
