About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Executive to join our team at Gartner. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and expand our client base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and other key decision-makers at our clients.
  • Manage and execute sales plans to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
Requirements
  • 6-10 years of external experience in consultative sales, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of account planning and territory management principles.
  • Ability to prospect and build relationships with C-level and senior-level executives at mid-size and large organizations.
  • Demonstrated intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen.
  • Proven experience building strong client relationships through offering valuable insights and strategic advice.
  • Strong proficiency in computer skills, including CRM software and sales tools.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the full sales process, from prospecting to close.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
