Role Summary:

The Security Agent plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of both guests and team members within the resort. This position is vital for safeguarding our patrons, personnel, and the property itself.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols throughout the resort to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
  • Inspect all buildings for signs of vandalism or unauthorized entry.
  • Collect evidence and prepare reports for any theft incidents involving guests, staff, or resort property.
  • Document all observed safety hazards, including accidents and injuries involving guests and staff, as well as incidents with resort vehicles.
  • Provide security oversight for special events hosted at the resort.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints as they arise.
  • Assist in securing pools, buildings, venues, front desk areas, and offices across the resort.
  • Facilitate the transport of paperwork and mail between different areas.
  • Perform night manager duties when designated.
  • Act as an ambassador for the resort, promoting a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.

Education Requirements:

A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory. A degree or certification in criminal justice or law enforcement is advantageous.

Essential Skills:

A valid driver's license is required.

Work Environment:

The physical demands and work conditions outlined here are representative of what must be met by an associate to effectively perform the essential functions of this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to fulfill these essential functions.

  • This position requires both indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions.
  • Extensive interaction with guests is a key component of this role.
  • Occasional lifting or moving of items weighing up to 25-50 pounds may be necessary.
