Job Opportunity

The Rose is seeking a skilled Mammographer to join our team at our Bellaire/Galleria location.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly qualified individual to perform mammography radiographer exams on patients, ensuring compliance with all radiation safety procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mammography and radiologist technology procedures and protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Perform quality control procedures and implement corrective action when necessary.
  • Complete documentation as indicated in regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitor protocols and recommend changes to the leadership team as needed.
  • Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, position patients for exams, select appropriate imaging techniques, and ensure technical quality of images.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree or equivalent training/graduation from an accredited school of radiology.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiological Tech in Mammography.
  • MRT from the Texas Medical Board or TX Dept. of State Health Services.
  • Bi-Lingual, Spanish & English, preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office or related field.
  • Basic Computer knowledge and skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Works well within a team.
