Position Overview:
The Leviton Finance team is in search of a Claims Processing Specialist to become a vital part of the Credit, Accounts Receivable & Claims department. We seek individuals who are motivated by challenges and possess a strong desire to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate, assess, and resolve customer claims (deductions) using various data sources.
  • Document returns and credit memos through data entry in Leviton’s systems.
  • Monitor, analyze, and reconcile overdue debits, including those aged 30, 60, and over 90 days.
  • Generate Resolution Effort Reports in Microsoft Excel to identify negative trends and track claim resolutions.
  • Collaborate with departments such as sales, logistics, warehouse, accounts receivable, and customers to resolve claims.
  • Address and recover invalid deductions.
  • Timely escalate unresolved issues to management.
  • Foster relationships across the organization to address root causes of deductions.
  • Maintain productivity levels in accordance with departmental guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
  • Capacity to excel in a high-volume work environment.

Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in general office practices, with knowledge of claims (deductions) and collections.

Travel Requirements:
No travel is required for this position.

Salary Range:
$45,000 - $53,000 per year
