Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Deductions Representative I to become a vital part of our Credit, Accounts Receivable & Claims team. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to tackle challenges and grow professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate, assess, and resolve customer deductions by utilizing various data sources.
- Input returns and credit memos into Leviton's systems accurately.
- Analyze and reconcile overdue debits, focusing on 30, 60, and over 90 days.
- Generate Resolution Effort Reports in Microsoft Excel to identify trends and monitor claim resolutions.
- Collaborate with departments including sales, logistics, and accounts receivable to resolve claims effectively.
- Manage chargebacks and recover funds on invalid deductions.
- Promptly escalate unresolved issues to management.
- Foster relationships across the organization to address root causes of deductions.
- Maintain productivity levels as per departmental standards.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service capabilities.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of experience in office practices, particularly in claims and collections.
Travel Requirements:
No travel is necessary for this position.
