Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Deductions Representative I to become a vital part of our Credit, Accounts Receivable & Claims team. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to tackle challenges and grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate, assess, and resolve customer deductions by utilizing various data sources.
  • Input returns and credit memos into Leviton's systems accurately.
  • Analyze and reconcile overdue debits, focusing on 30, 60, and over 90 days.
  • Generate Resolution Effort Reports in Microsoft Excel to identify trends and monitor claim resolutions.
  • Collaborate with departments including sales, logistics, and accounts receivable to resolve claims effectively.
  • Manage chargebacks and recover funds on invalid deductions.
  • Promptly escalate unresolved issues to management.
  • Foster relationships across the organization to address root causes of deductions.
  • Maintain productivity levels as per departmental standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service capabilities.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in office practices, particularly in claims and collections.

Travel Requirements:
No travel is necessary for this position.
