Position Highlights:

  • Focus on quality care, typically managing 14 to 16 patients daily (30 minutes per visit)
  • Providers are recognized and rewarded based on the quality of care, with many earning annual bonuses of $15,000, distributed semi-annually
  • Commence with 160 hours of paid time off in the first year, plus 5 days for continuing medical education, with clinics closed for 8 national holidays
  • Benefit from a robust clinical support team, including RNs, LVNs, MAs, scribes, nurse educators, case managers, clinic administrators, referral managers, coders, centralized scheduling, and a nurse advice line
  • Engage in collaboration with primary care physicians, hospitalists, and a network of employed and contracted specialists

Required Qualifications:

  • Certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Current licensure from the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners or as a Licensed Physician Assistant by the Texas State Medical Board
  • Valid DEA license or the ability to obtain one prior to employment
  • Comfortable managing a primarily Medicare-aged patient demographic

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Familiarity with and support for a managed care environment
