Description:
A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a qualified Clinical Care Provider to join their team in San Antonio, TX. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in an oncology setting and gain valuable experience in chemotherapy administration.
Responsibilities:
- Administer chemotherapy treatments according to established protocols.
- Monitor patients during chemo infusion to assess their response and manage side effects.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to chemotherapy treatments.
- Provide patient education on treatment plans, side effects, and self-care during treatment.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe treatment environment.
- Collaborate with the oncology team to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines for handling and administering chemotherapy.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in chemotherapy administration.
- Knowledge of hanging chemotherapy, with or without certification.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license in the state of Texas.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, clinical environment.
Compensation:
The estimated salary for this position is $38-$43 per hour, based on years of experience and qualifications. Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment, including a 401(k) with a company match for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.
