Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cancer Care Specialist to join our team at Methodist Hospital. This is a full-time position that offers a rewarding career opportunity for those passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to the medication.
  • Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
Requirements
  • BLS certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse Texas State License or Compact State License required.
  • Associate Degree, Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
  • 1-2 years Oncology or Medical Surgical Tele/Ortho acute care nursing experiences.
