Job Summary
Cancer care specialists are required to provide top-notch nursing services to patients with various types of cancer. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a hospital setting and be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

About the Role
This is a 13-week contract opportunity at Methodist Hospital. As an oncology nurse leader, you will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include administering chemotherapy treatments, managing patient symptoms, and providing education on treatment options and side effects.

Key Responsibilities
* Administer chemotherapy treatments as prescribed by physicians
* Manage patient symptoms and report any concerns to the healthcare team
* Provide education on treatment options and side effects to patients and their families
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and treatment outcomes

Requirements
* Current RN licensure in the state of Texas
* BSN degree or higher
* At least 2 years of experience working in oncology nursing
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
