Job Summary:

The Clinical Educator - Nursing Excellence is a key member of the Conway Regional Health System team, responsible for influencing professional role competence and professional growth of learners in various settings. This role provides educational expertise in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing orientation, continuing education, and in-service education programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, evaluate, and revise needs-based educational systems that support clinical practice and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the profession's body of knowledge by participating in IRB-approved nursing research and translating the research into current nursing practice.
  • Provide educational support to achieve the organization's mission of excellent patient care and nursing's vision of setting a new standard of excellence in autonomous and accountable nursing practice committed to patient advocacy and innovative patient care in a climate of trust and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement educational programs that enhance patient outcomes and improve nursing practice.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or higher, required.
  • Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing or current enrollment in an accredited Master of Science in Nursing degree program, preferred.
  • Current unencumbered, Arkansas nursing license required.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in nursing practice required.
  • Previous experience as unit educator, system educator, or other area of nursing education (i.e. preceptor, clinical instructor, staff education, or in-services) required.
  • Professional Board Certification must be obtained within two years of hire date.
