Job Summary

STS Technical Services is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Controller to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the correction of mechanical irregularities that may develop during flight operations.
  • Monitor the status of out-of-service aircraft and ensure timely repair of discrepancies.
  • Authorize MEL/CDL/NEF deferrals in accordance with company procedures.
  • Communicate with Dispatch and maintenance management to ensure seamless flight operations.
  • Supervise and provide technical guidance to maintenance personnel as required.
  • Coordinate the routing of parts, equipment, and personnel to out-of-service aircraft.
  • Ensure Ferry Flights and Functional or Operational Check Flights are conducted in accordance with company procedures.
  • Perform additional tasks as specified in the company's General Procedures Manual.
Requirements
  • Holds a Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
  • Three years of experience in the same category and class of aircraft as used by Mesa Airlines, Inc. preferred.
