Job Description:

As an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist at Aerotek, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of commercial aircraft. Your duties will include researching technical data, disassembling, repairing, cleaning, adjusting, assembling, testing, and calibrating aircraft components using specialized tools and equipment in compliance with maintenance manuals, FAA regulations, and company policies.

You will work on commercial aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, plumbing, and hydraulic units. Your attention to detail and ability to follow procedures will be essential in identifying, inspecting, and documenting parts after removal, and performing various service duties to maintain the aircraft in prime condition.

Responsibilities:
  • Research and analyze technical data to ensure compliance with maintenance manuals and FAA regulations
  • Disassemble, repair, clean, adjust, assemble, test, and calibrate aircraft components
  • Inspect and document parts after removal
  • Perform various service duties to maintain the aircraft in prime condition
  • Work on commercial aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components
Requirements:
  • Commercial aircraft experience, larger than a CRJ 900, Boeing and Airbus preferred
  • Boeing 777 experience
  • Basic set of tools
  • Certified repair station
