About the Finance and Accounting Development Program

Materion's Finance and Accounting Development Program is a two-year program designed to accelerate the career development of high-potential college graduates new to the field. The program is managed by a dedicated Finance and Accounting Development Program Manager with oversight by the CFO and Materion's leadership team.

Program Overview

The program prepares participants for roles of increasing responsibility through a combination of rotational assignments, structured learning, formalized feedback, and mentoring. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with finance and accounting leaders and participate in various key financial initiatives.

Program Structure

The program consists of three 8-month rotations, with the first rotation housed at our Corporate Office in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. Participants will receive respected mentors amongst our leadership team and learning opportunities with challenging hands-on experience.

Requirements

To be eligible for the program, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, a GPA of 3.0 or higher, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a team environment. Geographical flexibility is required during and upon completion of the program.
