Restaurant Operations Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Selkirk Pizza & Tap House. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
About the Role:- The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards and presented in an appealing manner.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory, minimizing waste, and maximizing profit margins. You will also lead a team of cooks, servers, and hosts/hostesses, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they meet their performance goals.
A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, you will build effective relationships with colleagues, vendors, and customers to drive sales growth and maintain a positive reputation for our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:- Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Lead a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to optimize performance and achieve business objectives.
- Manage inventory, minimize waste, and maximize profit margins through efficient ordering, storage, and preparation practices.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, sales data, and employee performance metrics.
- Foster positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and colleagues to promote a collaborative environment and drive business growth.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve menu offerings, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Ensure a safe working environment, adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and company guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, culinary arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in a senior kitchen management position, preferably in a high-volume restaurant environment.
- Proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams, driving sales growth, and improving operational efficiency.
- Certification in food safety management (e.g., Certified Food Protection Manager) and a valid Washington State Food Worker Card.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A competitive salary range of $22.00 to $26.00 per hour, depending on experience.
