Role Overview:
The Sales Engineer will collaborate closely with our Sales Teams, taking on a pre-sales technical role. This position involves providing technical consultancy and specialized support to enhance the sales process. You will be responsible for delivering demonstrations and technical presentations to customers, partners, and prospects, showcasing our audio-visual product solutions while articulating their features and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer technical expertise to assist in the architecture, installation, and planning of audio, video, and control solutions.
- Conduct research and analysis on available hardware and software options.
- Engage directly with customers throughout the sales lifecycle, communicating effectively with various stakeholders, from project managers to corporate executives.
- Design integrated audiovisual systems comprising diverse hardware and software components tailored to meet specific customer requirements.
- Support the development of formal sales strategies and proposals.
Qualifications for Success:
- Proven experience in the service and installation of audio, video, and presentation systems.
- Familiarity with control systems programming and CAD software.
- Strong communication, leadership, and customer relations skills, with the ability to work independently and be self-directed.
- Proficiency in reading engineering schematics and conveying design intent.
- In-depth knowledge of videoconferencing and unified communications technologies.
- Certifications such as CTS and CTS-D are advantageous, along with any relevant industry certifications or training (e.g., Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, Shure).
