Financial Partner Opportunity at The Village Bank

The Village Bank in Newton, Massachusetts, is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our investment management and financial planning team, Village Financial Partners (VFP). VFP is associated with LPL Financial, the nation's leading independent broker-dealer. Our mission is to be the community bank of choice, helping clients address long-term financial matters by discussing personal goals, priorities, and life circumstances. Through financial planning and investment strategies, we aim to create an experience where customers say, "I love The Village Bank."

As a Village Financial Partner, you will enjoy the benefits of being an employee of a great company while experiencing the autonomy to grow your client base. You will have the opportunity to assume management of an existing book of business, offer clients access to banking and loan services, and participate in all the Bank's benefit plans, including health, 401k with match, DB pension, paid time off, and more. All operating costs of The Village Bank, including office and administrative expenses, are paid by the Bank. Additionally, a significant portion of LPL Financial expenses are also covered by the Bank.

We are looking for a new financial advisor program manager with a bachelor's degree and five or more years of experience in managing an investment advisory practice, as well as active investment management and financial planning. The ideal candidate will have all relevant broker licenses and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or an equivalent combination of education and experience. They must also have a proven track record in client acquisition and demonstrated relationship building with high net worth clients.

If you feel you meet our requirements, we invite you to submit your resume through our career site.
