E-commerce Director

The RoleWe are seeking an experienced E-commerce Director to drive the strategic growth and success of our e-commerce business. This role will oversee all aspects of the online sales and customer experience, leading a team and collaborating with various departments to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Strategy and Planning
- Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to increase online sales, market share, and customer satisfaction.
- Set clear goals and performance metrics for the e-commerce platform and monitor progress regularly.
- Platform Management
- Oversee the design, functionality, and performance of our e-commerce website.
- Ensure a seamless and user-friendly shopping experience, including navigation, product presentation, and checkout processes.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and manage the e-commerce team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Inspire and motivate the team to achieve individual and collective goals.
- Digital Marketing and Promotion
- Plan and implement digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic, increase conversions, and enhance brand visibility online.
- Manage SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and affiliate programs.
- Product Management
- Work closely with the product team to ensure accurate and compelling product listings and descriptions.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to drive product assortment and merchandising decisions.
- Customer Experience
- Ensure excellent customer service throughout the online shopping journey.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Analytics and Reporting
- Analyze e-commerce data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on e-commerce performance and recommend strategic actions.
- Partnerships and Integrations
- Identify and establish partnerships with third-party platforms, marketplaces, and service providers to expand the online reach.
- Manage integrations with payment gateways, logistics providers, and other relevant systems.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of e-commerce experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving significant growth in an e-commerce business.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, analytics, and e-commerce technologies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in e-commerce.
- Excellent English and Mandarin writing and speaking skills preferred.
