Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Demand Planning Specialist to join our team at LVD Acquisition, LLC. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing demand planning strategies to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Demand Management (50%):

  • Utilize advanced statistical tools to refine sales forecasts and identify trends.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to gather insights and translate them into actionable forecasts.
  • Integrate newly released products into the monthly forecasting process to ensure accurate demand planning.
  • Participate in Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) activities to optimize supply chain performance.
  • Maintain the master schedule in our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Continuously improve demand planning processes to drive business efficiency.

Planning (20%):

  • Determine optimal finished goods stocking levels by leveraging historical data and forecasts to adapt to demand fluctuations.
  • Serve as a key user in our ERP ecosystem, utilizing knowledge across all planning layers to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Design future planning processes as we transition to a new ERP system.

Purchasing (30%):

  • Release finished goods purchase orders to our internal international expedite team to ensure timely arrival.
  • Ensure timely transfer of spare parts from manufacturing to the distribution center.
  • Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to release purchase orders for non-manufactured spare parts.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, customer service, procurement, production, and logistics, to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to effectively work in a team environment across multiple functional disciplines.
  • Strong planning and organization skills, with a self-starter mentality and solid problem-solving ability.
  • Proven experience in procurement, planning, or supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or 5+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Additional licensing or certification in purchasing and/or inventory control disciplines a plus.
