Aviation Operations Specialist

As an Aviation Operations Specialist with the Army National Guard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft fleet. Your responsibilities will include processing flight clearances, planning flight schedules, and coordinating air crew assignments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process flight clearances and plan flight schedules and air crew assignments
  • Coordinate flight plans and maintain flight logs
  • Alert crash crews of emergencies and interpret and post weather reports
Requirements:
  • Interest in working with computers and math
  • Interest in aircraft and air traffic
  • Ability to keep accurate records

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team and develop valuable skills that are in high demand in the civilian world. You will receive comprehensive training in aviation operations, including 10 weeks of Basic Training and 8 weeks of Advanced Individual Training (AIT).
