About This Role

As a Wealth Management Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering personalized wealth management plans to affluent individuals and families. You will work closely with our dedicated team of advisors to develop and implement tailored plans that meet each client's unique needs and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our Personal Financial Management process, including Money Mind and Honest Conversations.
  • Lead clients through the Money Mind and Honest Conversations process, gathering significant and pertinent data about their financial lives.
  • Act as the primary adviser for a client base of firms, working closely with Relationship Managers and Managing Directors to ensure a consistent and positive experience.
  • Advise clients on investment, tax, retirement, education, insurance, and estate planning, working closely with the Managing Director, Relationship Manager, and Director of Operations.
  • Monitor financial markets, specific investments, and new investment strategies to provide the best possible level of service to clients.
  • Take a holistic view of each client's financial needs and goals, ensuring they remain on track to achieve their objectives.
  • Act as the primary liaison with clients' accountants, attorneys, and other advisors, creating a strong relationship as a team to ensure a comprehensive wealth management plan.
  • Adhere to the UCFA Client Meeting Processes for Advice and pricing Advice accurately.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or equivalent experience.
  • Series 7 and Series 66, or Series 65, certifications.
  • Certified Financial Planner or Charted Financial Analyst designation is highly desired.
  • Minimum of 3 years working as a Relationship Manager, with at least 2 years in a Senior RM role, or 2+ years of working as a Wealth Advisor, Financial Adviser, or Financial/Business Consultant.
  • Registered as an Investment Advisory Representative (IAR).
