The Relationship Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering strong partnerships with listed companies, serving as the primary point of contact for Executives, Board of Directors, and Investor Relations contacts. This strategic and collaborative position requires a deep understanding of capital markets, investor relations, and the ability to develop and maintain key client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Meet regularly with clients to educate them on the value of their Nasdaq partnership, including Corporate Platforms solutions, marketing, events, and Nasdaq's position on key regulatory issues.
- Identify and mitigate risks across client relationships, implementing effective plans to remediate and retain Nasdaq Listed companies.
- Provide value-added consultative services to enhance issuer retention and overall satisfaction, including discussions on trading data, Nasdaq products and services, market structure, issuer advocacy, and macroeconomic issues.
- Establish and maintain relationships with senior officers, identifying client needs accurately and quickly, resolving problems, and answering questions on trading performance, investor relations, competitive intelligence, corporate governance, and marketplace regulations.
- Proactively address potential issues through client contact and due diligence, effectively promoting NASDAQ's value proposition and products and services.
- Maintain knowledge of key market rules and regulations, current hot topics, rule change filings, or new global initiatives in which NASDAQ is involved.
- Respond to inquiries impacting client satisfaction, working with the NASDAQ team to strengthen and maintain client relationships through a clear understanding of our value proposition and superior customer service.
- Secure client meetings with key decision-makers, collaborating with Investor Relations sales teams to grow the book of business and save at-risk clients.
- Grow the IR Service business by working with Investor Relations sales teams to bring in new business and retain existing clients.
- Manage client retention pipelines in Salesforce, tracking client meetings and interactions.
- Demonstrate the advantages of Nasdaq through face-to-face presentations and phone conversations.
- Manage listing proposal deliverables, working with the company and Nasdaq Marketing Team.
- Win listing spin-offs in their book of business.
- Responsible for quarterly Service Level Agreements.
- Prepare call sheets and talking points for Nasdaq Senior Management.
- Prepare Nasdaq Executive Remarks for bell ceremonies.
- Work with the MID and Surveillance team to help companies understand trading activity.
- Education Required: MBA, MSc or similar qualification.
- Experience Required: At least 8 years.
- Employees in this role are eligible for a Sales Commission Plan.

The base pay range for this role is $117,400 - $195,700. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth.
