MRI Imaging Specialist

The MRI Imaging Specialist is responsible for performing complex diagnostic procedures using state-of-the-art computerized MRI diagnostic imaging equipment. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of diagnostic procedures, including those of a more complex nature, utilizing MRI diagnostic imaging equipment.
Demonstrates competency with respect to MRI exams, procedures, and the use of pressurized injection equipment.
Assists Radiologists in invasive and biopsy-type procedures using MRI equipment to pinpoint anatomical locations.
Coordinates and prioritizes procedures during the workday to maintain a high level of patient care and continuity.
Requirements:
Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiological Sciences or other accepted and approved equivalent required.
1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
3 years of experience in a clinical imaging setting is highly preferred.
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in MRI preferred.
Current state licensure required.
Current BLS (American Heart Association) required.
Work Schedule:
Per Diem As Needed.
