We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist PRN to join our team at South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures and ensuring the quality control of our MRI equipment.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic MRI procedures utilizing MRI and imaging equipment.
- Responsible for the proper use of RIS (scheduling exams, patient tracking, film tracking, proper completion of exams).
- Responsible for all other equipment used in MR (e.g. monitoring equipment, stereotactic biopsy equipment (where applicable) and any other devices/equipment used in MRI).
- Demonstrate enthusiasm in performing and accepting work assignments.
- Assess situations, consider alternatives, and choose an appropriate course of action.
- Provide care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Graduate of a Radiology School.
- Previous experience in an out-patient MRI role desirable.
- ONE of the following within 6 months of hire date:
- ARRT (MR) certification OR
- ARMRIT certification
- CPR certification or must obtain during orientation period.
- Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) Certification from Texas Department of Health (preferred).
