MRI Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Tech to join our team at Methodist Hospital Texsan. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for scans, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.
Responsibilities- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Prepare patients for scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients correctly
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during scans
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Maintain equipment and supplies, and perform routine maintenance tasks
- Supervise and train junior staff members, and provide guidance and support as needed
- Graduate of an accredited MRI program
- ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in MRI or related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
