Key Responsibilities:- Provide day-to-day leadership to associates while working as a member of the team.
- Communicate key messages to the team and lead daily stand-up / shift start-up meetings.
- Schedule work / assignments required to meet company goals and customer required deliveries.
- Review and approve daily time and attendance and approve time off requests.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of the stockroom associates engaged in monitoring of product replenished on a Kanban or order point basis; receipt shipments; storage, picking, and delivery of product; entry of data into various computer systems and cycle counting/physical inventory.
- Monitors and tracks inventory and reports information to the management team.
- Drive 5S improvements for optimum organization and cleanliness of the stockrooms.
- Meet daily with manufacturing, production control, inventory control, and quality to coordinate the activities of the day.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (i.e., GED).
- 5 years of work experience in manufacturing material management, including at least 3 years of supervisory or team leader experience.
- Prior experience using SAP, Excel and MS Word.
