Position Overview

A dynamic organization in the consumer products sector is seeking a proficient Staff Accountant to enhance their financial department. The primary responsibility will be to accurately document and communicate financial activities, ensuring compliance with established accounting standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, statements, and analyses
  • Address discrepancies and perform account reconciliations
  • Assist with annual audits and supply required documentation
  • Oversee the general ledger and maintain up-to-date accounting records
  • Support various accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies, procedures, regulations, and legal requirements
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce expenses

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • At least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting environment
