Job Overview

Peak Living is a dynamic property management company seeking a skilled Assistant Community Manager to support our team in delivering exceptional customer service and community operations.


**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Support the Community Manager in supervising community associates and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Contribute to customer service and leasing efforts, fostering strong relationships with residents and prospects.
  • Ensure compliance with tax credit requirements through training, audits, inspections, and reporting.
  • Assist with leasing and marketing initiatives to drive occupancy and revenue growth.
  • Prepare and process paperwork for new and renewal leases, including rental rate adjustments and concessions.
  • Review resident files and accounting records to identify unpaid and late fees, communicate with residents, and implement collection procedures.
  • Support resident loyalty and retention initiatives, working closely with the Community Manager to drive business growth.
  • Assist with budgeted occupancy, collections, and other community operations.
  • Collect, post, and deposit rents and other community income.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of three years' experience as an onsite Assistant Community Manager or Leasing Consultant in multi-family housing, hospitality, or a similar field.
  • CAM or ARM certification is preferred.
  • One year of experience in LIHTC communities is required.
  • Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designation is preferred.
  • Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) designation is preferred for Section 8.
  • Excellent communication skills in English are essential.
