Position: Facilities Maintenance Manager

As our Facilities Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the effective multi-site management of production machinery, equipment, and facilities. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Team Development: Cultivate positive relationships among team members, encourage open communication, and provide training for skill enhancement.
  2. Preventive Maintenance Strategy: Design, schedule, and oversee a preventive maintenance strategy to ensure production machinery operates at peak performance. Lead the deployment of a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  3. Health and Safety: Guarantee safe and healthy working conditions by maintaining company property. Conduct inspections to uphold quality and safety standards.
  4. Inventory Oversight: Manage maintenance material inventories and requisitions. Propose and implement equipment enhancements for cost efficiency and improved performance.
  5. Reporting and Financial Management: Prepare maintenance and production reports, and oversee departmental budget management.

Requirements

Basic:
  • Experience: Minimum of five years in an industrial maintenance setting, showcasing a combination of technical expertise and leadership abilities.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations related to plant operations and maintenance.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Communication Skills: Strong attention to detail and effective communication across various employee levels.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Work Authorization: Current authorization to work in the United States.
  • Assessment Requirements: Successful candidates will complete assessments, interviews, and background checks.
  • Safety Sensitive Position: This position requires testing for THC.
Preferred:
  • Education: Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and Ladder Logic.
    • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), especially NETfacilities.
    • Knowledge of SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing).
  • Location: Resides within a reasonable commuting distance.
