POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Account Executive is an integral member of our dynamic sales force, responsible for engaging with customers to understand their requirements, making proactive outreach to identify potential sales opportunities, and implementing a strategic sales approach for the designated client portfolio. This role involves advising clients on product offerings that can enhance their operational efficiency and profitability. There is potential for career advancement into external sales roles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct account planning and strategy discussions with the Sales Manager during regular outbound sales initiatives.
  • Initiate outbound communications to prospective clients based on targeted lists and industry insights.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and product recommendations.
  • Develop lists of potential clients for sales leads, utilizing various information sources.
  • Cross-sell solutions to clients to generate leads for other business divisions.
  • Engage in proactive account management for assigned clients.
  • Qualify leads and foster relationships with customers.
  • Maintain detailed logs of communications and quotes.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to execute promotional campaigns.
  • Regularly update and maintain the CRM system with client information, leads, activities, and sales data.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay informed about a diverse range of products.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

A minimum of a High School diploma with at least three years of relevant industry experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in inside or retail sales is preferred.

COMPENSATION

The annual salary range for this position is between $65,000 and $75,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive hourly wage along with comprehensive company-paid benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability, 401(k), profit sharing, paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave.
