Job Title: Insurance Assistant Client Manager

At Alera Group, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Insurance Assistant Client Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Lines team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional client service and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional client service and support to Commercial Lines clients, including responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and escalating complex matters to senior team members.
  • Assist in the management of client relationships, including developing and implementing client service plans, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Process and manage client transactions, including policy changes, endorsements, and audits, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Lines Account Managers to develop and implement business growth strategies, including identifying new business opportunities and developing targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and product offerings, applying this knowledge to provide expert advice and guidance to clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including underwriters, claims professionals, and other support teams, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge, staying current with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance experience, with a focus on Management Lines (D&O, EPLI, Professional, Cyber) a plus.
  • P&C License required, Continuing Insurance Education activities viewed favorably.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, with experience in Applied EPIC and other integrated platforms a plus.
  • Ability to multitask, delegate, and manage workloads, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with a customer-centric approach.
