Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced P&C Assistant Client Manager to join our team at Alera Group. As a key member of our Commercial Lines team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service, supporting the day-to-day operations of our book of business, and working closely with our Commercial Lines Account Managers to drive growth and retention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to Commercial Lines Account Managers on existing and new business opportunities
  • Check new and renewal policies for accuracy and update management systems accordingly
  • Process change requests, endorsements, and audits
  • Manage daily carrier document notifications and pull documents from carrier websites
  • Issue proofs, certificates, and auto ID cards
  • Review basic lease and other contracts for insurance terms and verify compliance
  • Assist with claims, obtain claim information, and follow up with carriers and clients
  • Collaborate with clients, carriers, and other agency partners to manage service needs
  • Perform agency and direct billing activities, including premium finance contracts
  • Identify cross-selling and account rounding opportunities with current clients
  • Assist with receivable collections and check requests for client refunds and carrier premium payments
Requirements
  • 2+ years of Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance experience
  • P&C License required
  • Experience with Management Lines of business (D&O, EPLI, Professional, Cyber) is a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with Applied EPIC and other integrated platforms is preferred
  • Ability to multitask, delegate, and manage workloads and meet deadlines
