Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Client Manager to join our team at Alera Group, Inc. As a key member of our Commercial Lines team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service, managing client relationships, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day service to clients, including responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and communicating with clients and internal teams.
  • Manage client data, including documentation and management of action items and client communications.
  • Support the Commercial Lines Account Manager in handling and processing new and renewal commercial lines business.
  • Process change requests, endorsements, audits, and other policy-related tasks.
  • Manage daily carrier document notifications, pull documents from carrier websites, and handle/process documents as needed.
  • Issue proofs, certificates, evidence, and auto ID cards.
  • Review basic lease and other contracts for insurance terms and verify compliance with existing insurance programs.
  • Assist with claims, help obtain claim information, report, and follow up with carriers and clients to ensure handled and closed in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate directly with clients, as needed, to manage service needs.
  • Perform agency and direct billing activities as applies to policy transactions on client accounts.
  • Provide online carrier website and rating support for new, renewal, and changes.
  • Help identify cross-selling and account rounding opportunities with current clients.
  • Assist with receivable collections and check requests for client refunds and carrier premium payments.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance experience.
  • Experience with Management Lines of business (D&O, EPLI, Professional, Cyber) is a plus.
  • P&C License required.
  • Continuing Insurance Education activities are viewed favorably.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with Applied EPIC and other integrated platforms such as INDIO is preferred, though not required.
  • Ability to multitask, delegate, and manage workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Be responsible, organized, and a self-starter.
Work Environment

The work environment is a normal office setting with controlled temperature and moderate noise level.
