Job Opportunity

UMFS is seeking a skilled and compassionate Residential Direct Support Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our therapeutic residential program, you will provide supervision and support to a team of support coaches, ensuring the delivery of high-quality daily therapeutic care, programming, and crisis intervention to residents.

About the Role

This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires a strong understanding of Collaborative Problem-Solving techniques and the ability to build helping relationships with clients. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each resident.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of support coaches and provide guidance on therapeutic care and programming.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address the needs of residents.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to residents as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in a related field, or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years' related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Collaborative Problem-Solving techniques and the ability to apply them in a therapeutic setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and families.
  • Proficiency in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office products.
