Role Responsibilities
As a Senior Financial Accountant specializing in Manufacturing and Fixed Assets, your contributions will be essential in refining and sustaining financial operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the financial accounting processes for manufacturing activities, focusing on cost accounting, inventory assessment, and variance analysis.
  • Working collaboratively with various teams to collect pertinent data for precise and timely financial reporting.
  • Ensuring adherence to accounting standards and organizational policies in manufacturing accounting practices.
  • Creating and enforcing protocols for the accurate documentation and monitoring of fixed assets throughout their lifecycle.
  • Conducting regular audits of fixed asset records, addressing discrepancies, and maintaining an accurate fixed assets register.
  • Partnering with departments to guarantee appropriate capitalization of assets and compliance with depreciation schedules.
  • Preparing and evaluating financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Offering insights into financial performance, trends, and potential areas for enhancement.
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Supporting internal and external audit activities by providing necessary documentation and clarifications.
  • Staying informed about changes in accounting regulations that impact manufacturing and fixed assets accounting.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. CPA or relevant professional certification is advantageous.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, particularly in manufacturing and fixed assets.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing accounting principles, cost accounting, and inventory management.
- Experience in fixed assets accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
