Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance to the advisory team; anticipate their needs.
  • Strategic Insight: Engage in proactive and analytical thinking to enhance our operations.
  • Effective Task Management: Screen, organize, and manage tasks, directing the advisor's focus where it is most needed.
  • Financial Strategy Development: Create precise financial plans using Money Guide Pro; conduct complex analyses of planning strategies, risks, and opportunities in areas such as retirement, tax, estate, cash flow, asset allocation, and protection.
  • Oversee the implementation of client planning strategies.
  • Proactively communicate with clients to formalize their financial plans; address client service needs throughout the year.
  • Stay informed on trends in the financial planning sector.
  • Client Meeting Coordination: Keep updated on client meetings, advisor priorities, and project timelines.
  • Prepare for and attend client meetings, take notes, follow up, and communicate with clients.
  • Participate actively in client and planning meetings, translating discussions into actionable strategies for data collection and analysis to drive financial planning efforts.
  • Develop client deliverables and reports in a timely, accurate, and informative manner.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with clients, understanding their unique circumstances, connections, talents, and interests, and anticipate their needs.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • FPQP, CFP, or AAMSSM certification is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the industry and as a paraplanner is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior relationship management abilities.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office tools (Excel) and Money Guide Pro.
  • A team player eager to share knowledge and learn from the entire team.
  • Able to be present and aware of what is needed; focused on delivering quality work.
  • Possessing a long-term perspective, recognizing future opportunities and excited to take steps to achieve them over time.
  • A strong client advocate who follows through on commitments - Every. Single. Time.
