You will also respond promptly to changes in patient status, initiating interventions such as administering medications, providing oxygen therapy, or notifying the physician. Additionally, you will perform regular patient assessments, documenting changes in condition, symptoms, and responses to treatments in electronic health records (EHR).

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and assess patients with cardiac conditions using telemetry equipment
  • Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient status, initiating interventions as needed
  • Perform regular patient assessments, documenting changes in condition, symptoms, and responses to treatments in EHR
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients

Requirements
  • Current RN state license in good standing
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a telemetry or cardiac care setting
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
  • Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms and telemetry monitoring
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
